Position Description

Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus

Location: United States, Remote

Salary Range: $70k / annually

As a Sales Development Representative, you will lead our revenue generation efforts in our strategic markets. We are searching for an ethical, energetic, tenacious, and persistent sales professional who shares our values and vision to source and cultivate new client relationships, provide best-in-class client service, and market our expanding suite of loan products. Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to real estate investors to drive a high volume of business to the company in our new strategic markets
  • Work with our GTM and Relationship Manager teams to drive loan volume and structure deals
  • Own the relationship with new clients to obtain approval of deal structure, and facilitate a seamless handoff to the Relationship Manager team:
      • Build and maintain a pipeline through outbound and inbound sales efforts and a high volume of daily prospecting activities
      • Become an expert on our product suite and operational capabilities, as well as those of our competitors and be able to speak to our differentiation
      • Clearly articulate our different loan products that are available to our clients, as well as the terms of each of those services
      • Correspond with applicants to obtain information needed to prequalify loans and submit loan applications, as well as answer client questions about our process
      • Utilize CRM tools for task management and daily organization of outreach activities
      • Act as the key point of contact for borrowers and collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure that deals close in a smooth and timely manner
  • Support Conventus’ strong client relationship culture through on-going client contact, quality client service, and superior product and market knowledge
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations

Qualifications

  • Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior relationship-building skills via phone, email and video conferencing
  • Excellent client service skills and responsiveness
  • Proficient detail-oriented communicator and listener
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and effective CRM skills
  • Proven ability to connect with clients quickly and efficiently
  • Team Player with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years in a business development role, preferably in the lending or real estate industry
  • Proficient experience using a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, preferred, but not required
