Position Description
Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus
Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary Range: $110k – $120k / annually
Required 4 days per week in the office (Mon-Thu). Please do not apply if this does not align with you.
As the Strategic Events Manager, you will execute the company’s event strategy to drive strong brand growth and recognition in our key markets. The role will be focused on planning and hosting marketing events across the country to promote client acquisition efforts and build strong client relationships. You will work with multiple key stakeholders, primarily our Sales and Marketing teams, to coordinate and execute these demand generation events.
Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution:
- Execute on the company’s strategic objectives and GTM strategy through the curation of thoughtful and impactful events
- Plan and facilitate large and small-scale events across the country, sourcing fun and engaging event spaces to drive attendance
- Own the execution of events from start to finish including venue coordination, catering, content, booth displays, flyers, raffle prizes and giveaways
- Oversee attendee lists, track responses, and utilize CRM tools to optimize outreach and engagement in close coordination with Sales Team members
- Engage with the Marketing Team to create customized marketing content and event landing pages
- Provide on-site event coordination, and work directly with vendors to manage any issues as they arise
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Operations and Budget Management:
- Build KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness, impact and engagement driven by each event
- Develop an annual event budget, track individual event spend, and ensure that ROI metrics are maintained
- Gather feedback from event attendees and incorporate it into overall event strategy and future events
- Manage the request and approval process for events and conferences
- Maintain branded marketing collateral used at events and develop tailored content for each event, in close collaboration with the Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations

- Ability to make fast and smart decisions and make thoughtful recommendations to management
Education and Experience
- 5+ years in a field or event marketing role
- Experience planning a large volume of events across multiple locations
- Financial services, lending or real estate experience preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
