Conventus is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our growing Salesforce team. This role sits at the intersection of day-to-day support and hands-on platform development — the right person will own the incoming support queue and also contribute meaningfully to configuration work as part of our sprint process.
This individual should be comfortable handling support independently, solving problems across our Salesforce Financial Services Cloud org, and stepping into development work as they grow with the team. If you thrive on variety, take ownership seriously, and want to build deep platform expertise in a fast-moving lending environment, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Support Ownership & Operations
- Own and manage the Salesforce support queue, ensuring timely triage and resolution of issues across the organization
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-user questions, data issues, and system requests
- Maintain and track support activity in Salesforce and Jira
- Identify recurring issues and surface them to the team for long-term resolution
- Contribute to improving support intake processes and the overall end-user experience
Configuration & Development
- Implement Salesforce configuration changes using declarative tools (fields, validation rules, page layouts, permission sets, flows, etc.)
- Work in sandbox environments and follow established processes for deploying changes to production
- Collaborate with Product Owners and senior team members to deliver sprint work aligned with business priorities
- Build configurations that are clean, maintainable, and consistent with Salesforce platform best practices
Release & DevOps Participation
- Follow established deployment and release management standards for all configuration changes
- Support testing and validation activities prior to each release cycle
Cross-System Awareness & Support
- Develop working knowledge of integrations between Salesforce and other systems
- Assist in troubleshooting and supporting issues related to integrated systems
- Be mindful of upstream and downstream impacts when implementing configuration changes
Collaboration & Delivery Support
- Partner with Product Owners to execute backlog items and deliver platform enhancements
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies and team delivery processes
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders on issue status, resolutions, and upcoming system changes
Platform Stewardship & Best Practices
- Follow and uphold best practices for data quality, security, and system governance
- Seek opportunities to improve platform usability and end-user adoption
- Contribute to documentation of configurations, processes, and decisions
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience working with Salesforce in an Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency with user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
- Proficiency with declarative configuration changes, including but not limited to flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic record pages, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
- Experience owning or contributing to a support queue in a professional environment
