Position Description
Full-Time, Hourly, Performance-Based Bonus
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $40.00 – $52.00/hour
Conventus is seeking an Analyst, DSCR Underwriting Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with DSCR file set-up once loans transition from the processing team to the underwriting team to ensure they are underwriter-ready by handling KYC, credit pulls, property data, flood certifications, third-party orders and file structuring. You will be handling administrative and clerical tasks for the team to make for a more efficient underwriting process.
Responsibilities:
Borrower Intake & KYC
- Collect and validate borrower IDs, entity docs, EINs, operating agreements.
- Confirm entity good standing (SOS checks).
- Run OFAC checks.
- Verify vesting and signature authority.
- Properly label and upload all KYC items.
Credit Report Handling
- Pull credit reports.
- Extract tri-merge scores; analyze for lates, BKs, foreclosures.
- Document brief credit summary and upload and organize credit docs.
Property-Level Data Verification
- Run Flood Certifications.
- Pull Property Profiles (APN, ownership, zoning, liens).
- Verify tax records.
- Confirm HOA status.
- Verify address/county.
- Prepare property summary.
Third-Party Orders & Tracking
- Order title commitments/prelims, order appraisals via AMC and track orders daily.
- Request insurance deck pages.
- Request HOA resale certs.
- Request payoffs.
File Structuring & Organization
- Maintain standardized and complete folder structure.
Pre-Underwriting Review
- Validate SREO.
- Organize bank statements, confirm leases and initial DSCR rough calc.
- Identify and collect missing items and prepare file summary with red flags.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years DSCR/private lending experience preferred.
- Strong with entities and investor borrowers.
- Experience with credit, flood tools, property data platforms.
- Highly organized; excellent communication.
