Position Description
Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus
Location: San Francisco, CA
Required 4 days per week in the office (Mon-Thu). Please do not apply if this does not align with you.
Salary Range: $160K – $185K
Conventus is seeking an experienced VP, Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing and coaching a growing team of Relationship Managers who are located across the country. You will have the opportunity to help create and set the tone and culture for our sales team while helping to guide the continued revenue growth of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Sales Growth and Performance Management:
- Drive loan origination growth for Relationship Managers by identifying opportunities to help scale their business and providing ongoing coaching.
- Support Relationship Managers with managing their loan pipeline and prioritization of strategic relationships.
- Create, and train RMs on an escalation process and manage escalations to resolution with fairness and consistency, while holding the team accountable.
- Establish and enforce sales discipline, pipeline management, and activity metrics.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, including fostering strong, healthy working relationships with partner departments (including Capital Markets, Credit, Construction, Loan Operations, Servicing and Data & Technology).
- Partner with CRO and GTM Strategy to optimize market coverage and ensure the effective execution of key strategies and provide market intelligence to inform executive decision-making.
- Review Relationship Managers sales dashboards and reporting and ensure adherence to KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data and technology to increase production for Relationship Managers.
- Collaborate with partner departments to provide guidance and resolution on loan level issues, where appropriate.
- Manage escalations from client NPS surveys and work with teams to resolve and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.

- Data-driven decision making and ability to translate data insight into actionable sales strategies
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related field.
- 12+ years of Sales Management experience managing Relationship Managers, Loan Officers or Bankers.
- Experience in mortgage lending, real estate and/or financial services, experience with private lending preferred.
