This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and works closely with Capital Markets, Credit, Operations, Product, and Technology teams
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Builder and Sponsor Acquisition and Retention: Identify, source, and acquire institutional and professional builder clients, building a dedicated program for high volume developers and executing opportunities to monitor client behaviors and capture repeat business.
- Revenue Growth: Identify channels to drive GUC volume with experienced builders and developers through direct channels and grow lead conversion throughout the marketing and sales funnel.

- New Market Strategies: Develop GTM strategies for GUC in new and recently opened markets, prioritizing geographies where builder demand and development activity are strongest.
- Product Management: Collaborate with capital markets, sales, ops, product, and technology to refine and expand GUC loan offerings, features, and processes for both SFR, multifamily, and multi-lot development.
- Increased Project Sophistication: Build the capabilities, policies, and underwriting depth required to finance larger and more complex single-family developments and multifamily projects, including phased developments, multi-lot subdivisions, and 5+ unit MF/MU projects, and to sell these loans through structured programs.
- Loan Origination Technology: Ensure loan origination technology is built to appreciate the nuances and customization of the product.
- Loan Structuring and Pricing: Enhance the prescreening, structuring, and pricing of GUC loans to improve conversion rates and accommodate the complexity of multi-phase and large-scale projects.
- Capital Markets Interface: Work closely with internal and external capital partners to ensure GUC products meet requirements and demand.

- Risk Management and Portfolio Monitoring: Ensure appropriate risk management infrastructure is in place for the inherent complexity of construction lending, including project feasibility analysis, draw approval rigor, completion risk, and portfolio concentration monitoring.
- Policies, Procedures and Guidelines: Ensure all policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to GUC loans are maintained in line with industry standards and investor requirements.
- Performance Management: Monitor product fall-out rates, close times, draw turnaround, portfolio performance, project completion rates, and default rates to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risk.
