POSITION

Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus

As Conventus' Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be helping to lead the growth of our organization, bringing in best-in-class processes and practices within the human resource function.  We are a rapidly growing enterprise looking to almost double our team over the next year from 40 to 60+ and are searching for an energetic, “jack/jill of all trades” human resource professional who shares our values and vision to develop and execute hiring practices, policies, procedures and programs that fit our organization’s needs as we grow. This initially includes compensation planning, onboarding and training programs, and coordinating benefits administration but is expected to grow over time. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a strong voice as a key member that is critical to driving our growth and developing our culture during this pivotal stage of its development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruiting

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs

  • Create hiring/recruitment strategy

  • Screen resumes

  • Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process

  • Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers

  • Coordinate and conduct in-person and phone interviews with candidates

  • Perform reference checks

  • Follow up on the interview process status

  • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations

Human Resources

  • Payroll Processing

  • Background check distribution

  • Oversee administration of benefits

  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures

  • Coordinate staff training and development programs

  • Support management teams in coordinating the quarterly and annual performance review process, goal setting and implementation of performance improvement plans

  • Maintain responsibility for Conventus' compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters

  • Complete timely reports on employment activity

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HR experience in recruitment, onboarding and benefits administration

  • Experience or familiar with ADP Workforce Now Payroll System

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills

    • (Preferred, but not required) Previous experience working within a small organization that scaled in complexity and personnel

    • (Preferred, but not required) Previous experience working with senior level executives – ability to work comfortably with executives, be honest and forthright, and juggle multiple view points and priorities

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management (or related field); Minimum 3-4 years of experience in progressively more responsible HR positions (financial institution experience a plus, but not required)
