POSITION

Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus

As Conventus’ Salesforce Developer, your primary focus will be custom Salesforce development and integration with in-house systems and third-party tools. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

 

responsibilities

  • Identify and recommend Salesforce.com based solutions, integration points and related implementation architecture for business usage improvements, scalability and performance

  • Develop custom code using Visualforce, Apex, Java and other technologies to build customized solutions supporting business initiatives/processes.

  • Integrate Salesforce with other applications using web services and API’s

  • Translate functional requirements into technical requirements

  • Implement best practices by developing, refining, iterating, testing, staging and deploying maintainable technical solutions.

  • Engage in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices

  • Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging

  • Test bug fixes to make sure they work as per requirements, then deploy them to production

Salesforce Skills

  • Apex development

  • Visualforce page development

  • Lightning component development

  • Web service integration (SOAP/REST)

  • Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles, profiles, and reports.

  • Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements

  • Experience in moving code from sandboxes to production environment.

General Technical Skills

  • Sound fundamentals in Apex, Java, and other Object-Oriented Programming languages

  • Understanding of building and consuming REST APIs

  • Database fundamentals in Postgres, MySQL and other relational database systems

  • Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScriptWeb service integration (SOAP/REST)

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions
