Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus

As a Conventus Loan Closer, you will be at the center of our company’s daily goal of executing upon our mission to our clients.  We are searching for an ethical and highly detail-oriented, organized loan closer professional with the desire to go the “extra mile” who shares our values and vision.  This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key member of our team that is critical to ensuring the thoroughness of our loan origination process and delivering to our clients during a pivotal stage of our company’s development.


·       Create structured timelines with sales, loan processing, and capital markets teams to ensure an approved loan is fully executed in a timely fashion according to firm and regulatory guidelines before funds are distributed

·       Prepare loan closing documents

·       Review preliminary title policies, and evidence of insurance policies to meet guideline standards

·       Liaise in time-sensitive manner with escrow officers, title officers, additional third parties and clients

·       Review loan closing documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance and raise potential risks and concerns, including deficiencies in funding

·       Prepare funding requests for wire disbursements, escrow releases

·       Obtain post-closing documents and conditions as needed

·       Support Conventus’ strong customer relationship culture through customer contact, quality customer service, and superior loan knowledge

·       Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations

Education and Experience

·       2 years of mortgage or lending industry experience

·       Prior loan closing experience required

·       Bachelor’s or technical degree preferred but not required

Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 per year (dependent upon experience)
