POSITION

Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus

As a Conventus Construction Loan Processor, you will be at the center of our company’s daily goal of executing upon our mission to our clients.  We are searching for an ethical and highly detail-oriented, organized loan processor professional with the desire to go the “extra mile” who shares our values and vision.  This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key member of our team that is critical to ensuring the thoroughness of our loan origination process and delivering to our clients during a pivotal stage of our company’s development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Prepares and processes construction loan records, files and correspondence from application through approval within the construction loan processing environment

·       Working knowledge of residential mortgage and construction lending loan processing principles and practices

·       Familiarity of appraisals, feasibility analysis, construction plans, draw schedules, contracts, budgets and draw schedules

·       Create structured timelines and coordinate internal sales and capital markets teams to ensure a construction loan is fully documented in a timely fashion according to firm and regulatory guidelines before funds are distributed to the client

·       Liaise with clients in time-sensitive manner to obtain relevant documents and information

·       Open escrow, order title, appraisals, feasibility analysis, payoffs/releases, credit reports, OFAC and lien checks, and insurance documents, amongst other information in order to complete loan files

·       Analyze documents accurately and communicate additional needs

·       Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance and raise potential risks and concerns

·       Support Conventus’ strong customer relationship culture through customer contact, quality customer service, and superior loan knowledge

·       Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations

Education and Experience

·       2 years of mortgage or lending industry experience

·       Prior loan processing experience preferred but not required

·       Bachelor’s or technical degree preferred but not required

COMPENSATION

Salary range: $50,000 to $72,500 annually (dependent upon experience) Performance-based bonus
